The MEDRC mission to cut the energy requirement, environmental impact and cost of desalination is more relevant today than ever. 2014 was the hottest year on record globally and, almost certainly, 2015 will be hotter still. According to the US NOAA, this July was the hottest among all 1627 months in the record that began in January 1880. The recent World Resources Institute report on water scarcity projects that 14 of the 33 most water stressed countries in 2040 will be here in the Middle East Region READ MORE HERE
