FestivALL is a month dedicated to celebrating the diverse and welcoming communities in Gloucestershire.
This year FestivALL is all about linking up, celebrating and building connections, on and offline, and making sure that everyone is included in some way.
During the Covid-19 pandemic people have been finding different and creative ways of keeping in touch with friends, family and neighbours. Let's celebrate this!
People across Gloucestershire are invited to make their own paper chains, and either display them in a window for their friends and neighbours to see, or share a picture online (or both!).
Paper chains are a great representation of how people have come together and linked up with friends, old and new, during these unprecedented times.
Daily Hope, is available 24 hours a day and offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line.

Schoolroom Visits for the Family
We have had to put away our toys, games and books for the moment, so as to restrict the spread of infection, but there is still plenty to do in the Schoolroom.
We've prepared free Family Activity Packs full of fun things to do and make: quizzes, colouring, origami and art projects as well as Fun Facts to Find Out about our buildings. Each pack is just for you and we'd like you to take it away with you when you go home.
Remember you can still download our interactive app on your own device and take the virtual tour. Get it on Google Play or download on the App Store. It's free and lots of fun!
Please remember to stay physically distanced from other visitors and wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitiser before and after your visit.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Gloucester is Looking Up!
The chance to make your story about life in lockdown part of history.
We all have stories to tell of our experiences over the past months. We would like to invite you to share them with us in any form you like - stories, thoughts, art, poetry, prayers, photos - so we can build a picture of how our community has managed during this strange time. Gloucestershire Archives will be collecting our accounts for permanent preservation. Documenting the impact of the pandemic in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire is important. It will create another link in the chain of previous public health emergencies, from plague to Spanish flu. There will also be the chance to share with others later in the year when The Museum of Gloucester will be holding an exhibition, ‘A Life in Lockdown: Memories of Covid-19 in Gloucestershire 2020' which will become part of their digital collection.
To make your contribution to the project, please send anything you would like to share to mail@discoverdecrypt.org.uk.
