Hello & Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you for your interest in learning how to restore your health through improving your body's alignment.  It's an honor to help you reach your goals and live an active, pain free life.  Please take the time to read this introductory letter, as it will direct you towards the resources you want and away from the ones you don't.  For example, are you are looking for live or online classes?  In depth articles or quick alignment tips?  Books or podcasts?  I've started two new methods of communication: this newsletter & an Anthology Wellness Facebook page. This is an effort to stay better connected with you, my clients, and provide you with more options, so you can choose what works best for YOU.

Many of you already subscribe to my blog (anthologywellness.com), and perhaps you are wondering how this newsletter & Facebook page will be different.  The blog contains educational material but doesn't have much information on classes, workshops, etc . My intention for the newsletter is to highlight current classes, workshops & events, as they are constantly changing.  The newsletter will also include links to my blog, online classes, and other tools to help you in your quest for better alignment.  The Facebook page will share helpful tips, quick facts, and relevant articles from myself, other Restorative Exercise™ Specialists, katysays.com, and other health professionals. 

If you are still reading, thank you for taking the time to read this letter!  I hope this helps you find the tools YOU need to help you on your alignment journey. If there is something to add or subtract that will better serve you, let me know!

Stretch, strengthen, and align the whole lower body to reduce pain, improve flexibility, build muscle, and improve the health of your knees, hips, back & pelvic floor. This class is prenatal friendly, but not strictly for pregnant ladies.

Pelvic Floor Tone & Restore

Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:45-10:45am
Location: Blooma Nashville

Although this class is labeled as being for the pelvic floor, we work on the entire lower body--stretching, strengthening, toning, and restoring alignment . This would be a great class for anyone dealing with hip/knee/back/foot pain, incontinence (aka sneeze pee), pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, swelling, or pregnancy related aches and pains. It is appropriate for both prenatal and postnatal ladies (as well as those we have never had kids!)

The plank can be a great exercise to build core and upper body strength. Unfortunately, many people perform planks in a way that is (at best) ineffective and (at worst) damaging. This class will teach you how to get the most out of your plank, use more muscle, save your joints & ligaments and promote spinal alignment.
