Saint Lucia to relaunch its Citizenship-by-Investment Program
The Government of Saint Lucia plans to restructure and relaunch its CBI Program.
The island's newly appointed Prime Minister Allan Chastanet said " we are currently reviewing the structure of the CIP. We are hoping by November we will be able to relaunch".
At present there are 2 options to obtain Saint Lucia Citizenship, the first being a donation of US$200,000 and the second being a real estate investment at a minimum of US$300,000. The government bond option was recently suspended until further notice.
Saint Lucia became the fifth Eastern Caribbean nation to introduce Citizenship-by-Investment in January 2016 and shortly thereafter CSL became an authorized government agent for this program.
