Catching Up on the Latest
Here is some of the news regarding ATCC members:

We praise God that Carol McGinnis is recovering well after her surgery on Friday.  It was great to see her at church last night.  Pray that she continues to gain her health.

Congratulations to Christina Valery, who was named to the Commandant's List during her Advanced Leadership Course at Fort Lee in Virginia.  Christina ranked 7th out of 36 noncommissioned officers.  While at Fort Lee, she also served on the Honor Guard team, raising and taking down the flag.  Christina has now returned to Columbus, and we are so glad to have her back with us! (Christina is shown below receiving her award, and with her mother.)
It was wonderful to have ATCC charter members Danielle and Jameson Sofge in town this past weekend, along with the newest member of their family, Mason.

The Montgomery ministry held a great house church service this past Sunday in the Gump.  Several visitors were in attendance.

Members of the Tuskegee Campus Ministry will be going to visit our sister church in Tallahassee this weekend for fall break.  We know it will be encouraging to them, and to the members of the Tallahassee church.

Ketera Wright has been hired by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.  She will start December 1.

We welcome Brian and Marisha Atkins (below), who recently moved to Auburn from Cincinnati, along with their daughters, Alexis and Mackenzie.
The International Day of Giving for HOPE worldwide runs from Sunday, October 9 to Sunday, Oct. 16.  We are excited to have the opportunity to take up a collection on this day to meet the needs of the poor and infirm around the world.  There will a separate plate passed for this donation.  PLEASE MAKE OUT CHECKS TO HOPEWW.
