ATCC News
This has been a super encouraging fall so far at the ATCC.  Last Sunday we had a banner attendance, 50 adults and 10 children!  Keep inviting your friends.  We're loving the lessons on Matthew.

It was great to have our new brother Terele Parker at church on Sunday.  Be sure and meet this Tuskegee student who was baptized in Chattanooga over the summer.  A picture of him is below.

The Parenting Workshop this past weekend went very well.  Every ATCC parent who is currently raising children was there, as well as some visitors.  Bill and Alicia Hames and Ernest and Paulette Lawson shared their parenting wisdom.  There was a great discussion time.  Prayer requests are being gathered so the group can pray for one another's children.  (Please send in your request if you haven't done so.) Another meeting will be planned for next quarter.  We want to give a special thanks to the individuals who watched the children during the event.

There's still time for you to catch part of the Strength in Weakness event this weekend at the North River church in Atlanta, highlighting LGBTQ issues.  There will be a class on reaching out to same sex and transexual individuals, and helping them stay faithful, on Saturday, Sept 14, at 2 PM.  There will be session on Saturday evening that is geared for families and visitors on understanding homosexuality and transexuality.  The evening session costs $5 per person.

We are looking forward to next Sunday, September 22, when we'll have our Lord's Supper Meal!  Stay tuned for your assignment on what to bring.  We can't wait for the great food and special togetherness that this day brings.

Lastly, keep praying at 9:38 PM for workers!!
