It will be a landmark day this coming Sunday when we all worship with the North River Church of Christ in Atlanta. There will be a reception after church for everyone who is open to moving to be a part of the Auburn Tuskegee Christian Church, or who is interested in learning more about the church. All of our members are invited to be attend this reception and talk to prospective members.
PLEASE PRAY that God is preparing the hearts of workers to come and serve with us. The article about this that ran in the North River Church bulletin is below.
For those who are not able to go to North River, there will be a house church service at Rob Burn's place, 371 West Glenn Ave in Auburn, unit 59 on the 3rd floor. The service will start at 11 AM. Children are welcome.
Thanksgiving: Serving Kids
Please bring donations of single servings of food to go in backpacks of Tuskegee school children for the Thanksgiving holiday.. The donations are needed by Nov. 17.
This Thanksgiving, we have been asked to be a part of the team to feed underprivileged school children in Tuskegee during the Thanksgiving school break. The children will be sent home with a backpack filled with small servings of healthy food, like canned fruit, canned pasta, granola bars, cereal, trail mix, and peanut butter and crackers.
Please bring your donations to your Wednesday house church meeting, or give them to Mike McGinnis. The deadline for donations is Thursday, November 17, so the food can be distributed on Friday the 18th.
Also, please let Kat Watson know right away if you are able to volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County at any time from 9 AM to 5PM on either November 21, 22 or 23. The club needs volunteers during the day on Thanksgiving week when school is out of session.
