So Much Good Stuff!
It's been a great fall so far, and more encouragement is on the horizon! .
This Saturday, October 6, married members are going to have a special class on Married Finances, taught by Mike and Dianne Johnson.  The event will start at 4:30 PM at the Hames House, and will include dinner! (Be sure and sign up to bring something if you can.)  Accomodations are available for Gumpers who would like to spend the night in Auburn, instead of going back to Mongtomery.
And then, we are totally stoked for our Financial Workshop this Sunday, entitled, "Let My People Go: Imagine, Plan and Achieve Financial Security."

The teacher for this event is Mike Johnson.  Mike has over 25 years of experience in financial services, and currently works for the Principal Financial Group. He has also served as a minister at the Boston Church of Christ.  He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in microbiology, is married, and has 3 grown children and 1 grandchild.
Parents, we will not have Kids' Kingdom this Sunday, so please bring something for your child to do while they sit with you.  You can also sit in the children's class area, and we will leave the curtain open, if you have a toddler who needs to roam.
Changing gears, we're been getting so much useful information from our Sunday Series on how to study the Bible with people. We'll be studying Grace and Truth on Sunday, Oct. 14.
And singles, get ready!  Travis Hawkins is bringing a group of singles down from Atlanta on the weekend of October 20 and 21 to hang out.
Then, on Sunday the 21st, we're planning an epic International Meal for our Lord's Supper fellowship.  This is a great opportunity to invite friends.  Be thinking of what international dish you can bring, and what international outfit you can wear!
And one last look ahead.  On Sunday, December 9, we will have our annual Christmas service and party at the Nunn Winston House at Keisel Park!  This is one of our favorite events of the year, so put this on your calendar.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Matt 6:33

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.  Matt 16:18

Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." John 3:3

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
