Baptism!
Beverly Pratt was baptized on Thursday evening, May 18.  Beverly is a single living in Auburn.  She is an administrative assistant for the University Station RV Park, and has three grown sons and seven grandchildren.

About three years ago, Beverly started seriously applying herself to reading the Bible and searching out how to obey God fully.  She made many changes in her life, but couldn't find a church that reflected what she found in the Bible.  She found the ATCC online, and knew from her first visit that it was what she had been looking for.

Beverly studied the Bible with a humble heart, and immediately obeyed the scriptures.  She was excited to see how God was answering her long time prayer for knowledge on how to follow his will.  She jumped in and served the church, cooking and practicing hospitality.  When she saw that she needed to be baptized according to the Bible, she scheduled a time right away to do so.  We praise God for answering our prayers by giving us this new sister, and we are so excited to see what God has next for her!

Congratulations to Markeya Thomas, who passed her dental hygiene board exams!  We are so proud of Markeya, who worked hard on her schoolwork, all the while maintaining her relationship with God, to get to this point.  The Auburn women took her to dinner Wednesday to celebrate.
