Kristina Jones was baptized on Thursday evening, October 19th. Her baptism is the 11th baptism this year for the ATCC, and the 6th for the Tuskegee University ministry!
Kristina is a sophomore at TU, and plans to enter the nursing program this summer. She is from Palmdale, California.
Kristina was met by Bryce Outten, and started coming to Bible talk and studying the Bible. Kristina knew the Bible pretty well already, and had gone to church all her life. But as she studied, some of the precepts that she had always believed to be true were challenged. Kristina took time, went to the scriptures, and wrestled with each one. She built convictions. Another area of struggle for her was her friendships. She prayed and God helped her sift through to find relationships that were genuine.
Kristina has a warmth that lights up the room, and a passion to do what is right. She is an amazing addition to God's kingdom.
