"You give and take away. Lord, blessed be your name." Matt Redman (From Job 1:21)
As the ATCC transitions into the summer, God is blessing us in tremendous ways.
We are happy that Amanda Powell has moved back to Montgomery. Amanda was a part of our Montgomery group several years ago. She She is much loved. She has taken a position as an assistant attorney at the ADA Law Group in Montgomery.
We are also glad to welcome Lewis and Yolonda Card to Montgomery. This is especially cool because Lewis grew up in Auburn, and now he is back in the area!
The Cards come to our ministry from Raleigh, North Carolina, where they were a part of the Triangle Church of Christ. Lewis is currently working for the City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation. Yolonda is continuing her position with the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence.
Lewis and Yolonda have two daughters and one granddaughter. .

We are excited that five interns from North River are working with us this summer. Thaj Belongilot, Isaac Dennis and Holly Rosales are serving our ministry in June and July. Nya Dawson is here with them for the month of June, and Raissa Kuoamo will join the group for the month of July.
These interns are going to turn our area upside down for God!! The most important thing we can do to support them is to pray for them daily. But they would also appreciate being fed and invited over to our houses!

But along with the good news comes sad news. It is time to say goodbye to three individuals who have long been a key part of the ATCC. Travis Hawkins has accepted a teaching and coaching position in Atlanta. His last Sunday will be this coming Sunday, June 3rd.
Travis has been a member of the ATCC for seven years. He came to Tuskegee University as a freshman, and is in large part responsible for the Tuskegee ministry getting off the ground and thriving. Travis has also led the singles, and our HOPE chapter.
Julio and Jessica Delgado are moving to Jacksonville, Florida. Julio will be working at a Naval facility in King's Bay, GA. The Delgados have been members of the ATCC for ten years, almost since the beginning. They helped build and mold the campus ministry at Auburn University. They were the first couple converted by the ATCC to get married. They started the Montgomery ministry. They helped with the Tuskegee ministry. Jessica has organized many service projects.
Travis, Julio and Jessica will be sorely missed. The ways they have served are too many to count. The story of the ATCC would have been very different without them. They are so much a part of our success. We pray for them, and know that they will contribute to the success of the next ministry they join.
We are planning to have a lunch with Travis after service on June 3 to spend time with him and send him off. Details will be announced on Sunday. We will have a fellowship with the Delgados after church on Sunday, June 10.
