A New Path:

I am starting this new year with a different approach to my career. I am creating a support community through Patreon.

This change has come about because of various events and situations that will make it more challenging for me to stay a full-time author. I hope I can do so, and I hope that you will consider praying for my wife and me during the next several months.

The Patreon model allows my readers to participate in a give-and-receive community. In exchange for your monthly financial support, I will give you access to this new community, which will include Patreon-only blog posts, story previews, cover reveals, videos, chat sessions, and live streaming of selected events. You will also get exclusive access to news, updates, and contests depending on your level of support.

Here is the Patreon link -

The first 20 Patreon subscribers at any level will receive a "Dragon Wings are Beautiful Things" bookmark. The first 15 who pledge at least $10 per month or more will receive a Bones of Makaidos audio book.

Thank you in advance for your support. And please share this link if you are so inclined.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Testimony Time:

I just want to thank you for the book series you have written. My favorites are the Dragons of Starlight (go Koren!), Dragons in our Midst, Oracles of Fire, and Children of the Bard (Yay Bonnie and Lauren!).

Your books had me on the edge of my seat, fearful and excited. Before I found your series, I didn't know if God was listening. I tried to get into Bible study classes and stuff, and it helped a little, but it just was kinda weird, do you know what I mean? Like it wasn't complete. Then, my mom found your books on Goodreads and found The Circles of Seven at the library, and I just got sucked in.

I read the Dragons of Starlight, then read the other series starring Billy and Bonnie. I have to admit, I got seriously attached to Bonnie and Koren. You helped my faith grow strong. As I read, I felt things as I read the books. Every manacle that tore at Koren's wrists, I felt. When Lauren lost Joan of Arc, I cried bitterly and felt the same hole in my heart,  like I had been there. When Bonnie was captured by Devin and forced to jump out of the plane with him, I felt every tear and rip in Bonnie's wing.

Koren, Bonnie and Lauren felt like more than words on a page, they were close friends, no, sisters. I remember, when Lauren had to walk barefoot across a lava field, my feet tingled as if they were hers. My fictional sisters are in my dreams, both waking and asleep.

Your books opened the gateway to let me dance with Elohim, fly with Legossi, find Jehovah-Yasha, watch with helplessness as Cassabrie cured the sickness of Starlight, and hear the Song of the Ovulum. You helped me find my mercy song.

Thank you so much, Mr. Davis. Thanks.
