Realm Makers Writers Conference:

I often tell aspiring writers that they should attend writers' conferences. At such conferences, they will receive instruction, learn about the publishing industry, and get feedback on their work. There is no better way to take a step forward in a potential writing career.

There is also no better conference for Christian-world-view speculative fiction than the Realm Makers conference, which will take place in St. Louis, MO, July 18 to 20. And if you're a teenager, please note that I will be teaching the teen track there.

Here is a link to the conference where you can learn much more - https://realmmakers.net/conference/

Remaining Homeschool Conferences:

During the spring and summer of 2019, I scheduled 17 homeschool conferences at which I would speak and/or sell books at a vendor booth. As of this writing, I have three remaining.

July 25 to 27 - Southeast Homeschool Expo - https://www.southeasthomeschoolexpo.com/

August 1 to 3 - New York Homeschool Convention - https://greathomeschoolconventions.com/locations/new-york/

August 8 to 10 - Florida Homeschool Convention - https://greathomeschoolconventions.com/locations/florida/

If you're in one of these areas, I hope you can come out and see me.

New Product:

The Seventh Door is now available again as an audio book. We had made it into an audio book months ago, but the quality was unacceptable, so we took it off the market and re-recorded it.

You can order the new version here - https://www.theauthorschair.com/shopping/product/bard-3-the-seventh-door-audio-book/

You can also order all four Children of the Bard audio books here - https://www.theauthorschair.com/shopping/product/audio-book-collection-3-children-of-the-bard/
Testimony Time:

Hello Mr. Davis,

I am writing to tell you about the wonderful impact your books had on me and to thank you for writing them.

I read your book when I was in middle school, back in 2006. I grew up in a Christian home and knew all the right answers in Sunday School, but never really understood the grace of God. I was a Billy. At the time, I was also suicidal and considering acting on it. Thank God I didn’t. When Bonnie wrote Billy that letter in... maybe Candlestone? (It’s been a while since I read the books), I felt like she was writing it to me and I am convinced that on that day my faith became my own and I strove to know God more and more since then. I had striven for perfection and when I read that passage I realized I couldn’t and didn’t need to achieve it. Your book literally saved my life. I think on it often.

Here we are, thirteen years later, and I am still wrapped safely in the arms of God.

Thank you, Mr. Davis, for allowing the Lord to work through you.
