Peggy’s Ponderings

We had a great Christmas Eve service. Seeing all the pews full was so great. We have to keep praying. I truly believe one day it will happen. I could really feel the Spirit moving Christmas Eve. As I started reading, I was fighting tears. I felt the Lord, so strong. I felt like I was there. I hated seeing it end. I wondered what it would be like to be Mary. Can you imagine holding an infant that would grow up to be Christ. Growing up in the denomination I did; you didn’t feel the Spirit, unless you were yelling, dancing around the room, praying “Hallelujah” and “Amen.” But all you have to do is open yourself up to feel the Lord’s Spirit around you. IU lost that spirit for so many years. I can truly say I don’t ever want to loose that feeling again. So to all my Christian family, I want to wish all of you a very happy New Year and have a great 2019. Your sister in Christ.
