Pie Party

Our intrepid and INCREDIBLY charming office administrator, Christina Williams, who also happens to be VERY modest, has left us for a new career field. A celebration of pie and coffee will follow worship on Sunday, March 24th. We hope you’ll join us! We also hope she’ll join us and MAYBE, just maybe, not sit in the back pew.
She definitely didn’t write this.
Peggy’s Ponderings

  I'm Sorry

Two simple words, two words I have overused all my life. Yes, I said overused. When you step on someone’s foot or accidentally bumping into someone, or giving condolences to someone over the loss of a family member, ‘I’m sorry’ is very acceptable. But, for me, I seem to use them almost daily, it came to be a habit. All my life I was saying I’m sorry for things I was accused of. When I was being mistreated I would be the one saying I’m sorry. It finally ended with I’m sorry, to make sure I did not offend anymore. One thing I am learning, finally, in these last days, is to stand up for myself. I don’t have to say I’m sorry for something I didn’t do. I’m seventy-two and I am always cowering down when I am the one being hurt. But I have God on my side now. I will apologize if I was truly in the wrong but I will not apologize for defending myself. No one should, be proud of yourself, be who you are and respectful to others and you can’t fail. God bless you all and always remember, God always loves us, no matter who we are!!!

What is REFIT ®?
REFIT® is a life-changing group fitness experience that rocks your body, heart, and soul with powerful moves and positive music, to inspire you from the inside out. Powered by human connections, we turn boring “have-to” workouts into a “can’t-miss” community fitness experience. REFIT® classes propel students to be their best selves though dance, toning, balance & flexibility, modifying moves as needed for your body. Workouts are designed for everybody and every body – regardless of age, shape size or ability.

What makes REFIT® different from _________ (insert what you have heard of here)?
REFIT® is different because the fitness experience centers around helping people change from the inside. This is evident in the positive messaging in the music we use, time at the end of each class for inspiration and encouragement, and a high value placed on connecting people with each other.
Music may include (but is not limited to) top-40 radio (with clean lyrics) including Meghan Trainor, Janet Jackson, Pitbull, Justin Timberlake; popular Christian artists, including Mandisa, TobyMac, MercyMe, and SO much more.
