Item R7C, Road Elevation Strategy. The city recommended policy is as follows: A flexible and tailored approach for varying City conditions and needs that is not “one size fits all”. Flexibility is provided for situations where these minimum road elevation requirements cannot be harmonized with adjacent private property. When lower road elevations are allowed, they are accompanied by upgraded road-base materials to protect road reliability and service life from groundwater impacts.
- WAvNA Supports R7C. Also, we ask that Jacobs Engineering report needs to apply to the West Ave Project. And the city should provide the cost of harmonization for each property impacted.
Item R9B, R9E - 1) Location of Pump Station, 2) Private Property Harmonization, 3) Runoff & Drainage Policies
- WAvNA Supports for the location of pump station options #3 (pump and all above ground components at US Post Office parking lot 1670 West Ave) and #6 and strongly opposes items 1,2, & 8. See attached 8 location possibilities. Wavna opposes any above ground equipment on Lincoln Rd.
WAvNA Supports a fair policy to protect residents from any potential financial burden caused by the city. Also, since this is a public initiated project the city should compensate for any work done on private property due to this project.
Item R9G, West Ave Harmonization Policy and Avoid Unfair Impacts on Private Property.
