Eupora Industrial Park Receives TVA InvestPrep
The Enterprise along with our partners (see below) presented virtually in June to the TVA InvestPrep program requesting funding to make improvements to the Eupora Industrial Park. In July, The Enterprise was notified of an InvestPrep funding award to install lighting and signage at the Eupora Industrial Park. Signage and lighting will be placed at the entrance of the park at US Hwy. 82 and Industrial Park Boulevard.

Economic development is a team sport from the local board members and elected officials to the individuals listed below who helped with the TVA InvestPrep application and presentation. Our organization would not have success without the many people behind the scenes supporting all of our efforts.
Industry Meeting Focused on
COVID-19 Resources
An Industry to Industry meeting was held on June 17 with industrial employers to discuss manufacturing incentives in Mississippi, but the focus of the meeting shifted to include the Missisissippi Back to Business grant program as well as discussion of the federal PPP.
Kathy Gelston of Vision First Advisors led the discussion and answered questions from employers on how to navigate and proceed during these uncertain times.
The Enterprise would like to thank all of the individuals who agreed to being interviewed for our Community Livability presentation.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, The Enterprise is adjusting to a new normal of giving virtual presentations. In July, The Enterprise of Mississippi virtually presented their Community Livability presentation to Newmark Knight Frank consultants and TVA staff. The Enterprise was one of ten communities from the TVA region selected to participate in the Community Livabilty Intiative. The goal of the program was to increase the likelihood that the community will be seen as inviting and vibrant by companies seeking to locate in the community.
