FIRST STARRY NIGHT MEETING, Wednesday
Starry Night is taking place on Saturday, March 21st at the Easton Hall Conference Center. It’s a fun adult night out, that raises over $50,000 for BAM! So mark your calendars.

Our very first planning meeting will take place this Wednesday, January 29th, at 7pm. There are lots of ways that you can get involved in this event, so please join us! Email mgeurtsen7@gmail.com for more information.

— Maya Geurtsen, PTA Co-President & Starry Night Chair

LGBTQIA ALLY TRAINING, Thursday

Join us for an engaging and dynamic cultural training that supports institutions and individuals in being allies for LGBTQIA students and other community members on Thursday, January 30 from 6:30-8pm. Through personal stories and multi-media, you will see and experience some of the barriers and successes that the transgender, gender variant and LGBTQIA communities face, and gain tools for deepening personal understanding of the issues, which will support your allyship.

Fresh “Lev” White is a facilitator, trainer, mediator and certified coach. Since 2002, he has offered hundreds of LGBTQ Ally trainings in the SF Bay Area and beyond. Pizza and childcare will be provided.

— Gabe Winer, PTA Rainbow Families
