Do you need a recipe for avocado toast? Probably not. Should you be making avocado toast? Absolutely!
Sliced Grano sourdough
Salt & Pepper
- Start toasting your bread
- Cut open an avocado
- Put half into a bowl
- Add some lemon juice and mash to desired consistency
- Season to taste with salt & pepper
- Spread on toasted bread and enjoy
Dress it up with a poached or fried egg, some arugula or sprouts, some thinly sliced red onion, some cilantro, a pinch of red pepper flakes, sprinkle with furikake or everything bagel seasoning, or add some lox. The possibilities are endless!
