Fall Beginnings

Fall is here and a new school year is upon us.  The last couple of months have been exciting as we surpassed our summer fundraising goals! We are now serving FIVE different elementary schools in the Adams 12 school district.  Last week was the first bag distribution for the 2015-16 school year.  I am so thankful for all of the wonderful volunteers that continue to show up and make it possible for us to feed more students than ever!  The school liaison at Coronado Elementary sent me a very encouraging message that helped me see we are on the right track:
"The delivery was great. I am very impressed how well organized it is. We are very happy and thankful for you guy's generosity. Our families will be very blessed to receive food."

I would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Summit of Peace Lutheran Church for housing our organization for this school year and providing exceptionally generous financial support to Food for Hope.

Our next big event is the Thanksgiving Food Box Distribution!  We will be distributing at least 1,500 boxes full of all the fixin's for a full holiday dinner (including the turkey!) to all five of the elementary schools we serve.  We need YOUR HELP!
  • Click HERE to purchase a box that feeds a family of four for only $10!
  • Use the link in the blue box to sign up to VOLUNTEER and help give families in need a special and memorable holiday.
  • Please SHARE with friends, family, and coworkers so that they can be a part of serving our community too.

Thank you again for your ongoing support.  Because of YOU, we move forward with our mission.
