CTLT Spring Institute

The CTLT Spring Institute offers participants an opportunity to share practices and research around teaching, learning, and technology. This year’s Spring Institute, held May 2–3, 2016, will be part of Celebrate Learning Week. As UBC celebrates its centennial year, the CTLT Spring Institute will focus on reflecting on our past innovations and prioritizing our future teaching and learning endeavours.

Student Peer Feedback: Why and How?

The UBC Institute for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning offers a grant opportunity for faculty members to conduct research in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Every year 6-8 SoTL projects are selected. 2nd Annual UBC Internationalization Learning Day

In April 2015, UBC held the first annual Internationalization Learning Day (ILD). The ILD brought together staff and faculty from across campus and engaged them with a program focusing on better understanding UBC’s international engagement initiatives and how internationalization can further UBC’s core teaching, research, and community engagement goals. Building on the success of last year’s event, ILD 2016 will focus on celebrating our successes and beginning to focus on next steps, while at the same time asking the crucial question, “why does internationalization matter?” More info
