Week in Review

For the last month we have been sending a weekly update email to our members and community to keep you informed, supported and up to date with as much information as possible covering our changing environment. We thank you all for your support and for continuing this journey with us. We will continue to deliver a weekly update to stay connected with the RIMPA community.

With restrictions starting to slowly ease, what does the next phase look like for RIMPA in regard to hosting Branch events, continuing to provide our members with benefits and supporting our trade partners? The opportunity that is now available to us to change the way we deliver member value and events, has fast tracked the implementation of Virtual RIMPA. This includes online training, live webinars, the launch of RIMPA community on 7th May (an exciting new member engagement forum) and coming soon our very own podcast series.

The feedback and response to the implementation of the above new learning tools for our members has highlighted the need for us to continue to deliver educational opportunities virtually, so that all of our members (especially our regional) can access the benefits of being a member of RIMPA. In the coming weeks RIMPA will host online events that will delve into the many facets of our industry and will bring to you insightful, engaging industry experts from around the globe. Our live webinar program is filling up fast with topics and presenters confirmed up until the end of July. These live webinars (1 hour sessions) will remain as a member benefit and at no cost to our members until June 2021.

Thank you all from the RIMPA team for your continued support. We are so proud of the progress we have made in these last few weeks in continuing to connect and build the RIMPA community.

We are in this together and our RIMPA community is growing daily.

What else has been happening in RIMPA world

Pinch and a punch
can you believe its the first of the month! What a week we have had with VIRTUAL RIMPA going live with our first 2 webinars delivered this week. The feedback has been so positive not just about the content delivered by the presenters but from you our valued members about RIMPA stepping up to the game, by delivering virtual content that you can sink your teeth into from the comfort of your homes during these crazy times.

Virtual training has continued with Victorian Branch President Chris Holmes delivering a session on Tuesday  and we have added more sessions and training opportunities on the RIMPA event calendar, so make sure you investigate the training opportunities available.

RIMPA Community
We have been working hard behind the scenes conducting BETA testing of the new RIMPA community so we can get this rocket launched by the end of next week. (See below for further details)

Membership Renewals Reminder Notices have gone out this week. If you have not yet received please let us know so we can sort this out.

RIMPA Team Moments
On average it takes 66 days for a new behaviour to become automatic, and the team have worked from home now for around 30 days. It almost feels normal to be doing this. When we meet in the office once a week for our face to face team meeting (social distancing of course) we are all so excited to see each other! But find it quite awkward and distracting considering how productive we are and can be when working from home.
