This week I’d like to share with you a Forbes article that features some important tips that'll help make your workplace communications land with your audience—whether it's an audience of one or many. The article centers around advice from fellow communication coach Anne Ricketts of the Bay Area, who talks about her 3 C's of communication: clarity, concision, and connection.
I like to focus on the third C. As I often tell my clients, connection is key. While slideshows and visual aides may look nice and have a lot of useful information, your connection with the audience is what'll really make them remember you and what you said. Read more.
