University of Texas Campus Walking Tour and Happy Hour!

The University of Texas Community & Regional Planning (CRP) department is hosting a walking campus tour on Thursday, November 18th at 4:00 PM for planning professionals. Please join us to meet current CRP students and learn more about the UT campus. Following the walking tour, the group will enjoy a happy hour event at Posse East.

Planners from across the region gathered virtually and in-person in Fort Worth, Texas, from November 1st through 3rd for the Cross-Chapter Collaborative Planning Conference (APAC3*21). The Central Section attendees also reunited at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium to catch up and also meet new faces. The Conference featured mobile workshops on form-based codes, transit-oriented development, bicycling, and urban villages. Breakout sessions centered around mobility, resiliency, placemaking, and implementation. The Keynote Luncheon featured Michael Ford and his work exploring the relationship between hip-hop and architecture. The list of Texas Planning Awards winners can be found here:
