It’s time to rethink the future. We want to be brave (and bold!), today.

100+ Impact Hubs across the globe have been addressing environmental issues for 15+ years. As a global network, we are stepping forward and aligning our efforts to achieve impact at scale.

In November, we launched our global environmental strategy for action. In an honest interview, Anne Merkle, Environmental Lead at Impact Hub, shares why she does what she does, and why + how Impact Hub is taking action to create a more just and sustainable world.
Alongside governments and local authorities, whose role is vital to meet and deliver on the commitments, the actions of businesses, investors, and civil society and environmental & social enterprises are essential to accelerate the global transition to sustainability.

Welcome New Staff & Volunteers!

We are excited to introduce you to our two new Community Hosts!
Stacy Reynolds, Community Host
Stacy has been teaching for a very long time, which makes her experienced, if nothing else. Teaching ESL has taken her to Russia and Chile and learning French and becoming a French teacher brought her to France and Belgium.
She has yet to visit all seven continents, but she is young-ish enough that it could still happen! Lately, Stacy is working on starting up a language teacher worker-owned cooperative in an effort to create more flexible and efficient working and learning conditions for teachers and their students. The most important things in Stacy’s life are books, coffee, and her dog.
Adi Adara, Community Host
Adi is an avid advocate for TikTok marketing. Through the testing and application of various strategies to increase exposure Adi has gained 700,000 followers and over 20 million likes since June 2020. Currently, he's diving into Web3, the Metaverse, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency.

Outside of work, Adi loves to snowboard! You’ll find him at Hyland Ski Park almost every day. He loves hosting and attending in-person events - so expect an invitation soon!

#SocialImpactWeekMN Recap

From Nov 11th - 20th, 2021 a digital campaign was launched to share the stories behind 7 incredible social enterprises highlighting their community impact and showcasing Why Social is important to them and their businesses.
Over 60 businesses were invited to participate in sharing their own stories of Why Social giving more opportunity to shine a light on their impact.

Throughout the week, social business owners, partnership organizations, and community members supported all things “social” through shopping and exploring the dozens of social enterprises with brick and mortar locations around the Twin Cities.

From restaurants to gift shops, coffee spots to art spaces, the visual map highlighted 35 social enterprises across 9 neighborhoods in Minneapolis St Paul.

The digital campaign closed with a celebration at the Goods for Good Market hosted by Impact Hub MSP. Over 100+ individuals joined at the True North Collaborative to sip on sustainable coffee, shop their values, and meet the makers behind some incredible social good products.
