I'm not sure how I should start, but I guess I'll start with my name. On my I.D., it says Sealling Amy Sechang, but just call me Amy because no one can pronounce my first name. I am the new ministry coordinator for RE:NEW.

I am a native SoCal resident and have been in existence since 1991. I graduated from UC Riverside in 2013 with a degree in Philosophy/Law and Society. I took a gap year after graduation and served in Thailand for a year as an English teacher and youth/young adult leader with a local church. It was during this time God called me to take up my cross and devote my life to ministry. I now continue serving in my home church in Riverside as a youth and small group leader and attending A.W. Tozer Seminary in pursuit of a degree in Ministry Leadership. When I have free time, I enjoy being outdoors either hiking, running, snowboarding, etc. I also enjoy baking, trying out new recipes, and sharing these goods with anyone wiling to pick it up from me.

I also have two dogs: Ollie, a Maltese, and Foxy, an English Springer Spaniel. They are the silliest dogs on the planet, but I mean I could be biased. And if these two pups didn't keep me busy enough, I would own all the dogs in the world. I guess that might make me a "crazy dog lady" haha.

Anyway, I am eager and excited to take on this new position and chapter in my life. God says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I would be lying if I said I was prepared for this new chapter, however, I am confident the Lord has great plans for both RE:NEW and me. I'm looking forward to being able to meet as many RE:NEW family members as I can, and hopefully, I'll be able to get to know all of you personally and serve you to the best of my abilities.

IN FACT, you will be able to meet me at our first event of the year! The 2016 Faith Seminar, hosted by RE:NEW, in partnership with Stand to Reason and National School Project. Below you will find more information on this event and a link to register. I hope all of you will be able to make it so I can see all your beautiful faces.
