The Municipal Gallery dlr LexIcon is delighted to present a special selection of 20th century works from The Trinity College Dublin Art Collections. Originally conceived with Lismore Castle Arts, Trinity and 1960s alumnus Richard Wood were invited to curate an exhibition that would evoke the great energy sparked by direct engagement of the university's students with modern art during this period.
The exhibition includes key Irish and international pieces by Josef Albers, Karel Appel, Patrick Collins, Barrie Cooke, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Micheal Farrell, John Hoyland, Robert Indiana, Cecil King, Roy Lichtenstein, Nano Reid, Patrick Scott, William Scott, Peter Sedgley, Camille Souter, Victor Vasarely and more.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a Learning Programme featuring talks, tours and workshops.
