Join us for 2 special free events as part of our current exhibition in the Municipal Gallery dlr LexIcon, Finders and Keepers. On Saturday 9 January artist Rosemarie Langtry will give a talk and demonstration about her work and encaustic (hot-wax) painting technique. Then on Saturday 16 January potter Mark Campden will show how he creates his wood fired lusterware. Both events are free but availability is very limited; advance booking is required.

Printmaking in focus

Join exhibiting artist Robert Russell from the Graphic Studio Dublin for this talk about printmaking where he will talk about several of the prints in the show and the techniques used. He will also show some of the tools and plates used in making these prints. The event is free; advance booking is required. The Finders and Keepers Exhibition continues until Saturday 16 January.

Local Arts Development - Public Meetings

Dún Loaghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office is currently working on a new Arts Development Policy for the County. This policy will guide the Council’s work in local Arts until 2020.
The Arts Office would like to hear your views so have organised two public consultation meetings, one in dlr LexIcon, Dun Laoghaire on Tuesday 19 January at 6.30pm and another in the Mill Theatre, Dundrum on Wednesday 20 January at 6.30pm.
There is no need to book in advance to attend. All are welcome.
