Finders and Keepers - Talks

Wednesday 2 December 6.30-7.45pm

To learn more about our current exhibition Finders and Keepers join artist and lecturer Brian Fay as he talks to exhibiting artists Stephen Loughman and Patrick Redmond.
Thursday 3 December 6.30-7.15pm

Jacquie Moore, Deputy Arts Adviser in the OPW and artist/curator Claire Halpin will be giving a tour and talk about the artworks on show.
These talks are free but booking is essential.

Salon Nights

Wednesday 2 December, 8pm
dlr LexIcon Studio, (beside Café)

Hosted by dlr writer-in-residence Selina Guinness.
This month’s focus is on The Stinging Fly and will feature Declan Meade, Thomas Morris , Danielle McLaughlin and Cathy Sweeney.

Emerging Artists Bursary

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to announce ten emerging artists bursaries for the development and creation of new work.
Individual artists working in all art-forms were invited to apply. The following artists were selected following an open call for applications:
  • Marian Balfe
  • Tara Butler-Frey
  • Jason Dunne
  • Hannah Fitz
  • Chris Guilfoyle
  • Fiona Hallanan & Kate Strain (collaboration)
  • Riona Sally Hartman
  • Emma McGuire
  • Ian Nyquist
  • Oisín O’Brien
Successful recipients will receive a bursary of €1,500 for the development and creation of new work.
