Community Choice Collections, Claire Halpin artist/curator and the OPW.

In March 2015 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the Office of Public Works (OPW) invited a group of older people from dlr County to work with selected artist/curator Claire Halpin to collaboratively select and curate an exhibition of artworks for the dlr LexIcon Muncipal Gallery in November 2015.

The group meet every Wednesday with Claire Halpin in the Project Room of dlr LexIcon to research and learn about the OPW collection.  Over the last number of weeks the group have had the rare opportunity to visit the OPW collection housed in the main offices on St. Stephens Green.

The selection process is well underway with two defined categories -
The Definites and The Maybes.  Check out Claire's blog to discover more about this exciting project.
