Oxytocin- what I love in my life? is a very special live performance that will include pop music and digital projections created by a team of musicians and artists with intellectual disabilities.
Supported on the night by Electric Dreams from award winning arts and disability service That's Life, Brothers of Charity Services Galway.
Oxytocin are led by musician Jonathan Reynolds with guest musicians Honor Heffernan and Marc Aubele. Visual projections are by artist and filmmaker Eoin Heaney. The group was funded through our Performing Arts Commissions to respond to the local need for better access to cultural activities for people with disabilities.

We’re delighted to host the prestigious 158th International Print Exhibition from the Royal Photographic Society. This is the world’s oldest and longest-running exhibition of its kind, held almost every year since the Society was founded in 1853. Striking images of a huge variety of subjects by international photographers, from portraits to landscapes to wildlife, will capture your imagination.

This May the 158th International Print Exhibition from the Royal Photographic Society will come to the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon.
To celebrate this we’d love to see your photographs inspired by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County.
We will select some of the images that you send us, print and display them in part of the gallery.
There will be a special junior section as well.

Dublin County Fleadh Cheoil

Dalkey 10- 15 May
A series of cultural events entitled ‘Commemoration & Celebration’ will mark this year’s 1916-2016 centenary as part of the Dublin County Fleadh Cheoil which will be held in Dalkey from the 10-15 May 2016.
Concert peformances by some of Ireland’s best known musicians, singers and dancers will be staged including a special orchestral performance of REQUIEM 1916, the highly acclaimed newly composed requiem for orchestra, choir and sean-nós, composed by Odhrán Ó Casaide.
The events are being organised by the Craobh Chualann branch of Comhaltas, Monkstown, with the aid of main sponsors Foras na Gaeilge and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to coincide with the Fleadh Cheoil competitions.
