Morrisons and Alzheimer Scotland Forget Me Not appeal
We are teaming up with Morrisons supermarkets in a nationwide fundraising appeal from Monday 15 – Sunday 21 May. Could you spare a couple of hours to make a difference? You’ll be joining a group of volunteers working across Scotland in Morrisons' 62 stores. We will be collecting donations from the public and showcasing our iconic purple sparkly badges in-store for donation. Find out more
10 years of the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice
Congratulations to the team at the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice (ASCPP) who celebrated an amazing 10 year anniversary in March. To mark this achievement they produced a 10 year celebration report and video. You can view these here.
SDRC Conference - tickets now available
The Scottish Dementia Research Consortium (SDRC) Annual Conference 2023 will be held on Tuesday 25 & Wednesday 26 April at the Radisson Blu, Glasgow. Tickets are free for SDRC members and available here. Membership of the SDRC is free and you can join here.
Brain Awareness Week stories
Brain Awareness Week took place in March. As well as our 'Your brain is amazing' campaign (pictured above), we were delighted to share some stories from people talking about dementia and brain health. The sky’s the limit this summer!
Book the ultimate fundraising challenge by doing a skydive from the oldest skydiving centre in Scotland. Join us at our Alzheimer Scotland skydive day - 12 August. Take the challenge and skydive with other fundraisers. Friends and family are welcome to spectate on the day. Set yourself the target to raise £450 and help us make sure nobody faces dementia alone. Save the date. Alzheimer Scotland's Annual Conference 2023 will be held on Friday 15 September at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Details of the programme and how to register will be available this summer.
