Thank you to everyone who joined us for our rally Tuesday night outside Apex’s “community forum”. At one point, we counted 80 people quietly gathered together outside in opposition to this corporate intrusion into our communities. This was democracy in action, folks, and we will continue to make our voices heard, even if we have to ask questions on note cards! Every time Apex hears our voices, they know their ill-sited project is not welcome here.
Now is the time to make sure everyone you know is aware that this project is not a done deal. Apex would like people to think otherwise but the opposition is overwhelming and continues to grow. And for those who thought this project had gone away because our town boards have been in opposition to the project, make sure they are aware that’s not the case either. Suggest they sign up for our emails. Show them the project layout. See just where these could be sited. We have put a map of the proposed project layout on our website homepage. You’ll find it about halfway down the page. We will change the map as better versions become available. https://lakeontarioturbines.com/
Our message to Apex has been and will continue to be – Go Home!
Our message to Governor Cuomo - We’ll Keep Fighting!
Your support is important, now more than ever. We are all in this together.
