International Conference Call Reminder
The Descularisation of India

Hi <<Name>>,

Our monthly international call on the Future of the Secular Movement returns in this week: Thursday, 10 September, 10 a.m.. East Coast USA time (GMT -4).

There is an ongoing existential threat to the preservation of the separation of religion and government in the Secular Republic of India. With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Jammu and Kashmir, the Citizenship Amendment Act, and the sectarian tensions fomented by the BJP, the need for adamant secularists becomes more dire on a daily basis.

The call will be on 10th September at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (New York), 19:30 India Standard Time (New Delhi). We will highlight what is happening and announce an upcoming international event that we are putting together.

This call is coordinated with the assistance of our new South Asia director Manoj John.

On this call we will highlight:
• The rise of Hindu nationalism in Indian government.
• The Citizenship Amendment Act and its implications.
• The ongoing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
• Announcing an upcoming online conference on these matters.

Presenters will be announced in our next reminder. Zoom credentials listed below. This call will also be recorded for online access.

I look forward to having you joining us Thursday 10th September at 10 a.m. Eastern (U.S., GMT -4) and please share this email and add it to your calendar.
