May you discern the difference between healthy boundaries and self-serving decisions. God did not give you a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound mind. Yes, the days call for wisdom but they also call for love, sacrifice, and faith. What rogue thought pattern have you followed recently, <<First Name>>? Put up a “road closed” sign and take a more redemptive path. Has the enemy relentlessly taunted and harassed you? Raise up your shield and declare, “Not today, Satan! And not tomorrow either!” Have you grabbed for yourself when you already have enough? Look around and share your treasures with those in need. Guard your heart and your thoughts. And then generously share your life with those God has appointed to you. You are one of God’s great gifts to the world. Blessings on your week!

No matter what you're reading, we know that a helpful way to establish the practice of spending daily time with God in His Word starts with establishing a routine. 

1. You need a Bible. Any Bible will work, so if you have one, use it! We also love using the YouVersion Bible app. It’s free and a great way to be able to have God’s Word with you at all times.
2. Have a plan. In 2023, we invite you to join us in a Gospel reading plan! The plan is to read 3 Gospel chapters a day, and that should take about 20 minutes daily!
3. Commit to the same time. You will not regret setting your alarm for 20 minutes earlier, but whatever time of day you pick, stick to it and establish the routine! Having the same time, the same place, the same chair, the same cup of coffee beside you will help create the habit of spending daily time with God in His Word.
