Our NEW Carol House Quick Fix Express gets the wheels rolling!
The Carol House Quick Fix Express is a reality, thanks to our generous donors!
We are now able to reach out into underserved communities and provide them with sorely needed transportation to affordable spay and neuters. We had a big day for just our second trip to Silva MO, where we picked up 63 pets! Our dedicated crew leaves our clinic at 2:00 in the morning, fills the trucks and starts down the road in order to be in Silva by 4:00 a.m. to set up all of the lights, tables and get ready to greet customers. People start arriving at 4:30 a.m. with their pets. The truck leaves around 6:00 a.m. to make the two-hour drive back to the clinic. Upon arrival, each pet is weighed and examined by a veterinarian, with the goal to start surgery around 9:00 a.m. On "Go Home Day", clinic staff starts arriving at 5:30 a.m. to walk all of the dogs to potty, look at incisions, get cats back in their carriers, get everyone loaded securely back on both the van and the SUV, clean all of the kennels and be on the road by 7:15 a.m. There is a tremendous need for this service in the communities where we are transporting!

Community Outreach
On Saturday, October 17, the Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic organized a Community Outreach event in Fairgrounds Park. People walked their pets over, and lined up all day long for vaccination services. We helped 394 pets and signed up almost 100 of them for spay/neuter surgery. It was a great day and the pets and pet owners were so happy!

FUNdraiser!
On November 17, we had our annual FUNdraiser and had a sell out crowd! Everyone enjoyed wine and great food, and loved seeing a short slide show about the progress at the Clinic.
We hope everyone can join us next year!
