Wattblock has submitted is final report to the City of Sydney, based upon data collected on 500 residential apartment blocks across 33 suburbs and 10 focus buildings ranging from low-rise to high rise.

Many thanks to the 20 UNSW solar students and two AGSM MBA students who assisted the project.

We also need to thank our supporting partners on the project, muru-D and Microsoft CityNext.

The full report will be published, shortly.
Product Update
Following delivery of our first energy report with Tesla Powerwall battery analytics, we have provided our second solar + batteries energy report to a strata building. Adding batteries for this strata, increases the optimal size of solar from 11kW to 23kW and improves energy cost reduction for the building from 19% to 45%.

Wattblock Sponsors Owners Corporation Network (OCN)
Owners Corporation Network is a representative body for Owners in strata buildings in both NSW and Queensland. They share information to improve apartment living and represent the interests of Strata Owners and Occupiers. Wattblock acknowledges the great advocacy which they provide and is proud to support the efforts of OCN in 2016.

Team Update
In Sydney, we farewell David Jewkes who has interned with us over summer and welcome Saratchandra back for his second internship. This week we welcome Thomas to the Brisbane office who will be doing industrial training with us in Scott Witheridge's team.  We have also conducted second round interviews for our full-time Project Co-ordinator role in Brisbane.

Location Update
We are looking for a new location to move our team into from 1st March 2016. We are interested to hear from any other startups in the energy space who may be interested in joining with us to create a disruptive energy accelerator.
