NSW Government Climate Change Briefing
Wattblock was invited to attend the NSW Climate Change Briefing delivered by Minister for the Environment, the Hon. Mark Speakman. Wattblock attended a follow-up session organised by Office of Environment and Heritage on the proposed $500m plan over 5 years to make NSW a renewable energy leader. Wattblock has submitted a formal response to the proposed Climate Change Strategic Plan
including recommendations on common areas of apartment buildings
NSW Government Energy Entrepreneur Consultation

. Wattblock was invited by the NSW Department of Industry
to attend an energy startup consultation session alongside Wattwatchers, Suncrowd, Kairospower, Ecologicapps, Sourced Energy and Vellocet. This follows our formal submission to Department of Industry on Sydney-based energy incubators.
Wattblock Team Update
Wattblock farewells Michael Schuster who is completing his second stint with Wattblock. He will be heading to the U.S. and looking for renewable energy work in Seattle, so reach out if you have any contacts there. We also welcome on-board the new "WattApp" team of interns consisting of Waylon Fung, Saransh Tiwari, Thomas Rowlatt, Edward Cho and Indranil Chakravarty from Real Skills Education (RSE). Michael Crouch Innovation Centre
Wattblock would like to thank the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre for renewing Wattblock's residency as a Catalyst-in-Residence for the first half of 2017. Wattblock now appears on the UNSW Startrail map
as well as on Blue Chilli's Sydney Startrail map.
