Timeless Data Callouts

While we are constantly adding the latest polling data to the archive, we also add historical data on an ongoing basis. Recent updates include new conversions to modern statistical formats for a 1954 Italian DOXA survey on household spending, a 1977 Gallup poll on abortion (USAIPO1977-0990), and a 1950 Gallup survey on world affairs (USAIPO1950-0455).

Speaker Series
Dr. Jon Krosnick, Ph.D., Stanford, lectured to a packed house on Friday, October 12th on “The Future of Survey Research: Meltdown or Opportunity”, a fascinating dive into the effect of sampling methodology on survey accuracy. For more information on Dr. Krosnick's research, visit his website here.

Mark your calendars for the next Speaker Series event! Dr. Erika Franklin Fowler, Director of the Wesleyan Media Project, speaks Monday, March 11, 2019.

The ASA Conference was a big success for the Roper Center, as was the APSA Conference.  While in Boston, Membership Coordinator Alexis Bortle (left) and Roper Center Associate Director Brett Powell (right) had the honor of meeting Enoch O’D Woodhouse II, Esq., Lt. Col. USAF (retired) and past President of the New England Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. Of all the influencers we met at APSA, having the chance to speak with Enoch was very special.
