APTN is back with its series of sub-regional convening! On 16-20th January 2023. More than 40 trans and gender-diverse individuals are coming to represent our partner organisations in Kathmandu, Nepal. This event is the second of the sub-regional convenings, to be followed by one more in each region in Asia and the Pacific that APTN currently works with.
Starting next week, we will have daily highlights of our event that will be posted throughout our media channels for learnings. We cannot wait to hear unique insights and perspectives from our South Asia participants and the state of their movements. Stay tuned for our updates in hashtag #APTNConvening and #TGDConvening2023!

Having access to good health services is essential and is a basic human right for every person. Even so, trans and gender diverse people often find themselves in a bind trying to find a health provider that understands their health needs. In the last decade, we are seeing improvements made with the release of guidelines trainings such as the Asia Pacific Trans Health Blueprint, the depathologisation of trans people under the mental health chapter in the WHO ICD-11, the Trans Health Modules and other listed below. The path to full fulfilment and attainment of the highest standards of healthcare is a movement of its own, and we invite you to walk with us in effecting this impact by creating a change for the lives of trans and gender-diverse people in Asia and the Pacific.
We rely on financial donations for the work we do. Your donations will contribute to our efforts and work to improve the quality of care for trans and gender diverse people. If you are interested in donating to us, the page linked below will include a direction on how to donate.
See the short presentation of our trans health works here.
