Hi <<First Name>>,
It has been a long, cold winter in the Northeast.  Even two weeks ago, temperatures were still in the 30s!  A lot of TV binge watching, baking and online shopping ensued this season.  Thankfully, spring has started and we can look forward to ditching the down coat and putting on summer clothes.  To kick-off warmer temps, I have pulled together some ideas for summer and The Wry Home blog reader favorites since January (click on any title and it will take you directly to that topic).  I would also love YOUR suggestions for blog stories & what you are interested in reading about:
The Wry Home is about all the inspirations that create your individual style: travel, art, food, home, fashion, entertaining, family and friends.  I hope you enjoy reading about it in The Wry Home!

Lilly @ Target

Mayhem at Target on April 19th for the Lilly Pulitzer collection! I thought my strategy to drag my daughter (extra shopping cart) and be at the door when it opened at 8am would work.  No.... I luckily found this Lilly hammock lying in a toy aisle.
I got four boxes of these gold Lilly string lights.  Great for a deck or patio in the spring/summer.
Lilly gold plated wine charms: monkey, pineapple, elephant and fish.  Perfect for our bar!
Scored a few boxes of stir sticks that match my Lilly wine charms. That is IT!  The rest was GONE.

Summer Wants

Tideline Tunics.  Simple pieces you can throw over a bathing suit and wear throughout the day.  They come in three different lengths and beautiful patterns.  A must for summer 2015!
Mar Y Sol Tote.  J. Crew has the Mar Y Sol Caracas tote in multi (shown) and navy. Made of sisal/seagrass with leather handles, they retail for $115 each.  The Mar Y Sol line is committed to using sustainable materials to support local artisans and traditional crafting techniques.
Ray Bans.  They're back!  How many pairs of Ray Bans did I bend, scratch or lose in college? Classic Ray Bans are, once again, a summer staple.
True Cocktails.  Who doesn't want the perfect Margarita or Cosmo every time?  Here is a zero calorie cocktail mix that you can slip into your beach bag or summer weekend suitcase.  Add Tequila or Vodka, water, ice and shake!
Cobalt Wedge.  My excuse for ordering these it how HARD it is to find a navy shoe for the summer!  These patent cobalt wedge platforms are great with white pants, a sundress or a skinny pair of bermuda shorts (Prada).
