WA - Statewide Model of Care for Personality Disorders - Final Report
WA Model of Care PD
The Final Report has been released, outlining a clinically sound, co-designed, standardised state-wide Model of Care for the treatment and support of people with personality disorders in WA. The project was overseen by members of The Personality Disorders Sub Network and the Mental Health Network in partnership  with the WA Assoc for Mental Health (WAAMH). Download Final Report

NSW - Launch of Safe Haven in Wollongong
Safe HavenWollongong's Safe Haven centre, designed to provide an alternative to presenting to an emergency department (ED), is one of 20 proposed across New South Wales. The service uses a peer support model, and is run by people with a lived experience. Read more

The Bell Foundation offers this tip and more: 'Listen to them without saying that they’re overreacting or that they shouldn’t feel the way they do. Take some time to just listen and validate their feelings. Regardless of whether you find it reasonable, it’s still how they’re feeling and it’s important to acknowledge it.' Read more
