National BPD Conference - Register NOW!
The Hon. Martin Foley, Victorian Minister for Mental Health will open this year's National BPD Conference in Melbourne on Friday 15th November. Our keynote speaker Prof Jayashri Kulkarni AO will set the tone for lively discussions with her presentation 'Borderline Personality Disorder: Controversies, Challenges and Collaborations'. Regardless of the name, people with this condition often struggle to receive appropriate care - and misunderstandings about the cause and treatment of this illness are common. Overall, from both clinical and research perspectives, it is obvious that a wholistic, personalised approach for each individual is required to optimise outcomes.
The Pre-Conference workshop 'Working with Complexity' will be held the day before, Thursday 14th November at Spectrum Personality Disorder Service in Richmond, Vic.
Registrations are now open!
