Festive Season & New Year 2019
BaubleWe understand this time of year can be a difficult time for some people for a number of reasons. Please take care of yourself and we look forward to reconnecting with you again in 2019.

The eBulletin will return in February 2018 when most training and support groups start up again. The Summer edition of The BPD Advocate will be arriving in your inboxes soon  - so you will have some interesting reading to take you through the holiday break!
Holiday period 24hr support services
The festive season is a time for us all to celebrate together and share special gifts. For some people this can unfortunately be a time of additional distress.
We have therefore listed some 24 hour crisis phone and chat lines at the end of this eBulletin where they will be easily accessible if you need extra support.

Branch News

SA Committee members have been attending various consultations for the SA BPD Centre as plans are made for the physical centre and the services the Centre will be offering. In addition, we have been delivering in-service training to local services wanting to know more about BPD and how to support family members of people living with BPD.

The resources for carers, consumer and professionals relevant to WA is in its final draft and has been very useful already in identifying gaps in geographic regions. The Mental Health Professional Network meeting in November had an attendance of 35 people, and a panel of clinicians and carer peers discussed a case study.

The Australian BPD Foundation is group of volunteer consumers, carers and clinicians passionate about encouraging a positive culture around Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and promoting the ready availability and accessibility of appropriate services for everyone impacted by BPD.
