Bonnie's Travel Picks

Eight things That Are Always In My Bag

Lately, I’ve been trying to swap coffee for a healthier caffeine fix, and matcha, known for its high levels of antioxidants is my new morning ritual. These packets make it easy to satisfy my cravings on the road.

Take your IPhone photos to new levels with this new wide-angle lens—you’ll notice a dramatic difference in your shots.

Stay minty fresh on your trip with a compact and convenient travel sonic electric toothbrush that comes with a travel case and a 30 day battery life.

Books are heavy, and though I still prefer reading the old fashioned way, nothing beats a Kindle on long trips. Having multiple books on one small device lightens your load, plus you can always download more material out on the road.

Wireless headphones are perfect for long flights and car rides and to listen to music in the hotel gym or out on a run. Be sure to download songs ahead of time to your Spotify playlists.

I have dry skin and traveling makes it worse—my go-to remedy is a few drops of this Active Botanical Serum twice a day. It smells heavenly, is never greasy and hydrates better than any of my creams. Sure it’s pricey, but a little goes a long way, and it sure lightens up my toiletry bag.

Years ago I felt like I was coming down with something on the road and a helpful employee at a local health food store steered me towards this oregano oil, calling it the silver bullet for its antiviral properties. I never leave home without it.

I always get cold on planes and having a scarf is a must. I usually bring an oversize one that can also double as a blanket or pillow.
