Submissions should be from Western PA and adhere to guidelines for healthy plant-based eating: no animal food; minimal processed foods, oils, sugar, & salt.

Plant-Based Pittsburgh Cookbook

We're still seeking RECIPES, either original or adapted from another source. No recipe is too easy or too simple! (see mine below) Email your recipes to Judi Carvell judicarvell@gmail.com. 

Very Quick Sweet Potato Bisque
Ingredients
  14-oz. can pureed sweet potatoes
  14 oz
. water, broth, or nondairy milk
  ½ tsp
. curry powder 

Directions: Blend 'til smooth. Add, to taste: jarred salsa, diced tomatoes, and other frozen or fresh vegetables. Heat eat!
