JANUARY 31 Meeting

1) Introductions & sharing.
2) Leslie Leopardi & Josh Schapiro will be leading an Instant Pot demonstration! This should be an informative & enjoyable meeting.

The Pgh. east-suburban Plant-based Support Group has combined with PlantPure Nation's Pittsburgh Pod to form a larger PITTSBURGH PLANT-BASED SUPPORT GROUP! This is exciting; more people = more voices, resources, sharing, and events in the greater Pittsburgh area!
  • Explanation: The 'Pittsburgh Pod', part of the PlantPure Community organization, has been inactive for a while. I volunteered to lead the group, merging it into our already-formed and active support group.
  • Meetings: We still will hold monthly meetings in Murrysville. Who wants to meet in another area? Email me your name and if you live NORTH, SOUTH, or WEST of Pittsburgh. I will put together a list, and send you contact information. Leslie Leopardi already has a meeting room in the Fox Chapel library for those living north of Pgh.
  • PlantPure Communities (PPC) Pod Network emerged from the 2015 film PlantPure Nation. The goal is to support a network of independent, local groups promoting the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle.
    Here's a

    Pittsburgh Plant-Based Support Group!
  • Healing America is a new social action movement by Nelson Campbell of PlantPure Nation. The goal is empowerment of people in local communities to collaborate to bring the whole food, plant-based message to everyone, including those in under-served neighborhoods. Donations through Jan. 31 will be matched by Center for Nutrition Studies (and, be eligible for Vitamix coupon). Go to the donation page to see the many available perks.
