We hope this email finds you well. We have been busy travelling and performing, and amongst it all, some big changes have been happening in Co-cheòl.
We are very sad to announce that our lovely Georgina will no longer be singing with the group. Here's a personal note from Georgie.
It is with great sadness that I have to say my farewells to Co-cheòl. It has been a wonderful and magical journey, full of excitement, anticipation and special moments, not to mention, all the beautiful friendships I have made along the way. I have decided to move on to other things, take some time off to finish my masters and to move on to other musical pursuits.
I thank you all sincerely for your loyal support and encouragement, especially when it comes to my voice. I came into Co-cheòl as an amateur alto singer and I honestly did not expect to be performing in such magnificent venues, alongside well respected, talented musicians.
If you would like to contact me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org as I will no longer be contactable through the Co-cheòl email.
Once again, thank you for your support and I hope to see you at a festival or two!
Georgie's humour, warmth and rich alto voice have brought so much to Co-cheòl. We will be forever grateful for her hard work, dedication and friendship and wish her all the best inher future musical persuits.
We'd also like to say a very big thank you to our friends Stephanie Firth and Amelia Alder (director of A Cappella company Vocal Australia) for stepping in for Georgie at recent festival performances. Your hard work has been enormously appreciated.
In other news, we've been enjoying visiting some new places, having recently returned from Fleurieu folk festival (SA) and Nanga folk festival (WA). Both festivals were full of personality, fantastic music and wonderful people, and many a new friend was made.
To all those who live in WA - we're heading your way again, today in fact! We're very honoured to be headlining as the feature act at Dunsborough SongFest. Check out the program here.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to sharing more music with you again soon.
