This Sunday, April 18th is a big and exciting Sunday.  It's the last 10am outdoor service for a little while, we have outdoor Kids Sunday School after church, and most importantly...... it's YOUTH SUNDAY!  I've always said that Youth Sunday is one of the most important Sundays of the year for children and their families to attend.  It's a day when worship is led by students not too much older than our kids- students who are role models for younger youth and kids, and it's a day to hear those young people testify to their faith in Christ and lead music that uplifts us all!

We hope you can join us Sunday in the parking lot!  If it has to move indoors, I'll email you, but the forecast looks pretty good at this point.  Bring your own chairs and a friend!

11-11:40 right in the parking lot.  We'll just pull our chairs be brought for the service together into a little distanced circle to complete a mission project.  Parents can join us if they'd like or not.

This Sunday April 18th, we're offering ZOOM Sunday School at 1pm.  This way, we can begin to do more in-person things on Sunday mornings, but still have a time to connect virtually too.  Hope to see you then!

Our official restart of Kids Sunday School is coming very soon!  Beginning April 25th, we will be offering Sunday School in two groups for children age 2 to 5th grade at 9am, which is during the Fellowship Hall Worship service.  At this point, we're still in a testing phase so we're committed to five weeks from April 25 through May 23rd, and we'll reevaluate to determine the future offerings.

For children 5 years and older, Sunday School will be outside (weather permitting) and masked.  When the weather does not permit us to be outside, we will be in the Rumble Room below the Fellowship Hall.  5 years and up will be doing a WRM Unit on Esther with all of our usual workshop-style activities.  Other than being outside, being a little further apart, and wearing masks...... we want this to feel a lot like what we were able to do before the pandemic!

Children 4 and younger will have childcare with a Bible story and activity coordinated by Emily Kelley, our Child Care Coordinator.

Parents can worship inside while their kids are doing Sunday School, OR, if you are not quite ready for indoor worship or plan to attend the 11am service, you can just drop off.  The only thing that kids will need to bring along is a mask, and we have extras if you forget.

Check out these 24 cards with different activities and conversations that you can do whenever you want during this season of Lent/Eastertide.  It is sure to help prepare the hearts of your family to celebrate Easter!  They were mailed out and are available on the CM Table in the church building.

Once you've completed all the cards the back of each completed piece will form a springtime puzzle with hidden objects to find.  Any family that takes a picture of their puzzle, signifying they completed all the cards will be entered to win a $25 Amazon Gift Card prize!!
LAST CALL---Photos must be submitted by April 17th!

Children's Choir rehearsals are happening on Thursdays at 4:30 in the Children's Choir Room/Rumble Room area.  This year we are making music with instruments and are starting to do a little bit of singing while properly distanced and masked!   The choir is for children ages four and up. It's never too late to come and try it out-- just let Amy Bowman know so she can plan instrument parts for the right amount of children.   Email if you're interested or would like more information!

The Worship Live Stream for this Sunday is at 10 am.  If you can't join us in person in the parking lot, watch with your child from home via the live stream!

Check out our YouTube LivestreamFacebook page, or Virtual Church webpage at 11 AM.  If you miss seeing it live, it will be available anytime following the service

 VBS July 18-22

This will definitely be our date and theme for VBS!  This is later than usual on account of school letting out later and the unknowns of the pandemic.  Last year we had a safe and successful VBS by staying outdoors, distanced, masked, and parents came too as kids stayed in groups with their family.  At the LEAST, we could do that this summer on this week, but we are hoping and praying that things improve significantly with the pandemic where we could safely have a more traditional format.  Stay tuned on the "How", but for now, we wanted to at least share the "What?" and the "When?"
