Astrophoto donations needed

We are seeking framed member astrophotos to display and sell at the SAS Annual Banquet on Saturday, March 19th. Funds will help us continue our mission of promoting amateur astronomy, maintaining our equipment library, and expanding our educational outreach. February stargazing highlights 

Morning Sky Events:

February 26 – Venus, Mars, and the crescent Moon will form an attractive group in the pre-dawn sky. Venus will be very low in the sky (altitude 10 degrees at 5:55 AM) and you will need a clear view toward the southeast. Look for Mars five degrees below and a bit to the right of Venus. The moon will be on the right and a few degrees below Venus. Dawn (civil twilight) is 6:24 AM.
